Locomotive or multiple unit train designed to operate over lines having two different electric traction power supply systems. Locomotives have been designed to operate with up to fthe different voltages covering both AC and DC systems. Some trains can operate on lines with either overhead or third rail current collection as for the Eurostar Trains and UK Class 92 Channel Tunnel locomotives.
